Environment

See also Kingsley Village Sign.

The council is directly responsible for maintaining the condition of Upper Green (centre of the village, where the childrens play area is) and also keeps an eye on the various hedgerows and verges in the parish.

We also hold the "Cricket Ground", VG116, (the rectangular, flat, area on the common south of the pond) on a long lease from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for the benefit of villagers.

There should be no horses, vehicles or military activity on this piece of ground - if you see anyone using a vehicle or any military activity there, please contact the MOD Police or the Warden, Alec Fulton, on his mobile 07881 848135.

If you know of anything that needs to be done in any of these areas, please report it to a member of the council.
